Chuck & Kelli

Dear Birthparent,

We understand that choosing an adoption plan is a huge decision.  Just like you, we have spent a lot of time weighing the pros and cons.  Is this the best thing for us?  Is this the best thing for this child?  Can we handle this life-long commitment?  Before our niece was adopted, this would have been a much tougher decision.  She has taught us a lot about family and love.  We know that this is something we were meant to do.  We have not been able to conceive, so adopting was the most logical next step.

We have both came from big families and have always wanted children. We knew someday, one way or another, we would have little people in our home. We have prepared our home and our dogs the best picture title we can, and we continue to prepare ourselves for this life-changing event.

About Chuck
Chuck is the most genuine person I know. He is honest and never fake. Chuck knows what he stands for and defends it. His older sister says she tried to mold him into the perfect man. Well I believe she did it – with a little help from his parents, of course. He is funny, active, passionate, and thoughtful. My only complaint is that he could pick up after himself a little better.

About Kelli
Kelli is a very loving and caring person. She is excited about starting our family. The sound of little feet on the floor will bring a big smile to her face. She keeps me organized and without her I wouldn’t know what to do. You can say she is my rock.

picture title About Children
We do not have any children yet. We hope to have two or three kids. Right now we have two dogs and a cat. I keep telling Chuck if we don’t start a family soon we are going to end up with a zoo at our house. We have a lot of love to offer.

Extended Family
Chuck has two half-siblings and two step-siblings, all are older. He has several younger cousins and one niece. I have a brother and two half-siblings, all are older. I have many cousins with young children and seven nieces and nephews. We are fortunate enough that Chuck’s grandparents are still living and all of our relatives live locally.

picture title About Careers
Chuck is the general manager of a family-owned steel company, he has been there six years. I am a physical therapy assistant, I have worked at the same hospital four years.

About Travel
We have taken road trips together to Chicago and St. Louis. Our honeymoon was a cruise to Grand Cayman and Ocho Rios, Jamaica. Then we spent two days lounging in Ft. Lauderdale. We much prefer the road trips. Our goal is to go to all of the major league baseball stadiums. So far we have been to Kauffman.

Thank you for taking the time to check us out. Whether it is us or another family, good luck and follow your instinct.
